Crysosurgery has shown to be an adequate method for treatment of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas of the internal angle of the eye, since it allows the destructioon of the lesion while preserving adjacent tissues. We present 106 cases of tumors treated from 1985 to 1995. Of these, 101 were basal cell carcinomas, 3 were squamous cell carcinoma and 2 were of another type. Ninety-one cases were treated with cryosurgery only, 10 cases were treated with with radiofrequency and there were 4 recurrences, that is, we obtained control in 96% of the cases. These results agree with those published for other surgical methods. Cryosurgery, alone combined, is an applicable treatment for all first choice.
